ASL Translator Responsibilities

The ASL Translator provides sign language interpretation for deaf or hard-of-hearing attendees at various events. The translator must be fluent in both spoken and sign languages, and have the ability to convey the meaning, tone, and context of the speaker's message accurately and clearly. The translator must also be familiar with the topic and terminology of the event, and adhere to the ethical standards and best practices of the profession.
