# Camera Operator Lead/Director of Photography Responsibilities

The Director of Photography (DP) is responsible for capturing the visual aspects of an event. A DP works closely with the showrunner, the camera crew, and the post-production team to ensure that the event is recorded in a high-quality and creative way. A DP also oversees the lighting, framing, composition, and camera movement of each shot.

The Camera Operator is responsible for capturing video footage of live events. They use professional cameras and equipment to record the action, the atmosphere, and the reactions of the participants and the audience. They work closely with the showrunner, the director, and the sound engineer to ensure the quality and consistency of the video output. They may also edit and post-produce the footage according to the client's specifications.
