# Lighting Designer Responsibilities

The Lighting Designer is responsible for creating and executing the lighting design for live events. They work closely with event producers, and technicians to ensure that the lighting design enhances the overall aesthetic and mood of the event while also meeting technical requirements and ensuring the safety of performers and attendees.
