# Post-Production Editor Responsibilities

The Post-Production Editor is responsible for editing and assembling raw footage into a polished video that meets the client's or director's vision. They use various software tools to cut, trim, splice, and merge clips, as well as to add transitions, effects, soundtracks, and titles. A post-production editor also collaborates with other professionals such as producers, directors, and sound engineers to ensure the quality and consistency of the final product.
